Celebrate Mid-Autumn festival

    Mid-Autumn festival is a traditional cultural festival popular among China's various ethnic groups and east Asian countries. It is also called yuexiu festival, autumn festival, zhong qiu festival, August festival, chasing the moon festival, playing the moon festival, worshiping the moon festival, women's festival or reunion festival, which falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.Because it is just three half autumn, so the name, some places will be the Mid-Autumn festival on August 16.

    The Mid-Autumn festival began in the early years of the tang dynasty and flourished in the song dynasty. By the time of the Ming and qing dynasties, it had become as well known as New Year's day and became one of the major festivals in China.Influenced by Chinese culture, Mid-Autumn festival is also a traditional festival in some countries in southeast and northeast Asia, especially for the Chinese living there.The Mid-Autumn festival has been listed as a national legal holiday since 2008.The state attaches great importance to the protection of intangible cultural heritage. On May 20, 2006, the festival was approved by the state council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

    The Mid-Autumn festival is one of the three major lantern festivals in China.But the Mid-Autumn festival does not like the Lantern Festival, like the large Lantern Festival, playing lights only between the family, children.
